Huntington Fox Fire KOA,   Milton, West Virginia Locate this campground with Google Earth $36.01 per night
Beautiful day today with high in the mid 70s and clear sky. The weather is so warm that the fall leaves, having just changed colors, don't know what's going on.   We drove about 86 miles today and Frank's pain in the groin is back again, but not as bad as yesterday. Tom is doing laundry. Basically an uneventful day. This is a regular KOA, sandwiched between a major US highway and an Interstate. But it is clean.

Twilight Overnight Campground,   White Sulpher Springs, West Virginia Locate this campground with Google Earth $30.00 per night
A bit longer drive today at 150 miles. This is a small campground behind a motel but suprisingly not a bad place to stop for the night. Clean and well maintained. Frank is feeling better today. We drove through some very beautiful country in Southern West Virginia.   The mountains are extremely scenic. I bet this area was spectacular a few days ago before the fall leaves were all blown away. Just on the other end of this small town is the famous Greenbrrier resort. W

Walnut Hills Campground and RV Park,   Staunton, Virginia Locate this campground with Google Earth $37.16 per night
Moving further east today we are outside Staunton. This is a very nice campground. Beautiful views, full hookups, Wi-Fi is only $2 a night, very clean and neat.  I highly recommend this as a stop over. They also have an excellent website. Take a few minutes to read their park magazine. Frank continues to improve and to gain strength.

Home,   Clifton, Virginia Locate this campground with Google Earth $0.0 per night
Well we are now home and Frank is resting and finally able to get through a day with no truck bouncing. (By Wednesday he will be much better) We will stay home for a period while Frank sees doctors and rests. If all goes well, and he is thoroughly back to normal, we will again start out on another trip, sometime in December or January, headed for the South West US.
