On the next page you will find a color help for those who want to draw lines on Google Earth. The intent is to give you an idea of how easily different colored lines will be visible over Google Earth's imagery. The number/letter codes along the left refer to the Google Earth color grid which is one of the options in the add Path dialogue. In Google earth click on the Add Path icon then under the Style, Color tab click on the Color: box. Letters go down, numbers go across. Hover your mouse just above each line on the chart and you will get the Google hexadecimal code for that color. The first 2 letters are the alpha strength which basically means the brightness or transparency of the color. FF is full color, 00 would be completely transparent and so invisible.
